Default Remove air pump or plug it?

I just installed my new pace setter headers. They are the off road type. Should I plug the air pump hoses or take off the air pump?

It was worth the money for the headers and y-pipe. I have to get the pipes to clear the body a little more. They are hitting the frame. Will I need any kind of block off plates after removing the air pump?

Not if headers don't have provisions for AIR. Atleast it doesn't look like it.

Remove the pump, it's heavy and you don't need it. It's easy to remove also.

Get it out of there! I had a friend make blockoff plates for my stock manifolds, he just cut pieces of steel and drilled the holes for the bolts to go through, and I used the bolts that held the AIR hoses to the manifold. Piece of cake.
