I want a 5th gen. Buy a used SS in the first year or so if I can afford it, that way I get a practically brand new car without paying brand new price and getting hit with a couple thousand loss right as I drive off the lot. That's what I'd like to do anyway. I may end up with a late 4th gen Z28 to replace my 98 Camaro V6. But who knows...

I drive a Dodge Ram 4x4 as my daily driver right now. 14mpg, so almost anything different would be an improvement in gas milage.
I just turned 50 and in a few months will be totally debt free. No house payment, no bills other than utilities and taxes. I will work for another 15 years to hit my retirement goals. I currently make a little over 90k a year and take home over 5k a month, with utilities averaging about $550 a month and food/gas averaging 350 a month that leaves me with a lot of money for toys ($4,000+ a month)
Next Cars WILL be, not BSing:
used Viper ( can pick one up for 35K-45K for a gen1 or gen2)
used Vette (love the looks of the C5 better than the C6's)
Then I need a convertable to go on nice weekend drives with daughter and grand daughter, so it must be a 4 seater. Either new Challenger Convertable, new Camaro Convertable or find a nice 4th gen TA convertable.
My daily driver truck was bought as a tow vehicle for my current TA that will be my track only car.
Hardest thing is waiting out the next few months to finish paying off all of my bills and then saving the cash at 4k a month to buy these toys.
I also work part time at Barnes & Noble and have been there for 8 years, I make $10.00 an hour and do not include that money as part of my planned income even though its about $150-200 a week.
I am not rich and have been set back multiple times due to divorce and other financial disasters. finally seeing the end of the tunnel and freedom to buy the toys I have wanted for a long time.
I will need a bigger garage though.
