lol..... 16 ci? how about the fact you can run a 4.000 bore? and your cars not exactly STOCK... and the not so stock cars your racing must have nothing more then simple bolt ons..
i've run modded gtos w/ ls2s in my car, running close numbers, and even though their heavier they still pull me... again. no replacement for displacement.. 16 ci is 16 ci.

Browsing and just wanted to chime in; My LS6 started out as a crate engine that made 390 rwhp out of the box with no mods. Many internal and external mods and tuning sessions later, it makes just under 525 rwhp and 450 tq with no power adders. This is very close to the ceiling of output for a na 347 cubed motor that I've seen. This is also a daily driver in Houston now.
The next mod is a stroker engine with a procharger to get into the 750 rwhp range.
I don't have any experience with an LS2 but cubes roughly equal power potential is my understanding after 20 years of modding cars..
