Don't act stupid! I had the SS on the dyno and it put out similar numbers to every other fbody there that day with similar mods reguardless of it being a transam or camaro ram air cars or not.

an ls1 is an ls1 is an ls1, a 98-02 trans am is the same exact thing as a 98-02 z28...and it is the exact same for ws6 and ss...... bottom line is they are All under- rated. i had my car dyno'd after i got it for ***** and giggles..... my car baselined at 302 rwhp... bone f'n stock.....makes no sense if its rated at 325.. if you use a 15 percent rotating mass loss you get this........ 325*.15= 48.75....... 325-48.75= 276.25 rear wheel horse power stock rating........at the time my bone stock 2001 ls1 ss camaro according to a 15 percent power loss through drive train came to be a 347.3 horsepower motor..... 347.3*.15=45.3........347.3-45.3= 302rwhp......... trans ams do not produce more power stock than an ss or vise versa.... that is the dumbest thing ive heard in a while they are the same damn car... an ls1 is an ls1 is an ls1....

If I had it to do over again, I'd stay bone-***-stock, and put on a 150 shot.

My Z28 has beaten SS's with more mods than I have.
My car runs good for what it is though.

i would go with the headers first. you cant do anyting if the engine cant breath. I put the headers and the stall in at the same time. but that is only beacus money was available at the time.
