i think his name is rich and ya hes a moron i hate that show except when they do pinks all out thats a pretty decent show i guess at least pass time is usally pretty straight up

hahahahaha well put! I hate the host, he has no idea how to handle 2 completely different cars when one guy is ******* it and one guys trying like hell. He always pretty much gives the win to whomever is trying to screw the other guy. Thus making more people want to sandbag the early races. Show needs a new host ASAP! oh and he just reminds me of a popped collar wannabe badass. He crashes the bike and then when logic failed he took his shirt off thinking his muscles are going to impress everyone. Oh and hes a guy he should not be wearing belly shirts. ******.

i remember that, even ken was making fun of him for it. if i remember correctly it had strobes too didnt it?Ken - "So how much horsepower does that wing add?" or something like that. I'm hoping that guy got shamed enough to promptly rip it off.

Lol how could I have forgotten the strobes! I saw it at first and said "Oh god no, it's probably some punk thinking he has a bad *** show car" and then the guy got out. I can't remember how old he looked, must have been 20 or 30 something.

I made a run on the Montgomery Pass Time show back in April. I still haven't seen the episode aired yet though. My '99 C5 has a 226° Patriot cam, FAST 78 intake and headers. I bogged the launch (stupid pro tree) and ended up running a 12.3 @ 115 (with a 8.07 1/8 mile time). That was .3 seconds off my best 1/8 mile time of 7.72 here in Huntsville.
I talked to Rich a little. He is mighty full of himself, but he has done a lot for the drag racing community by producing Pinks All-out and Pass Time. It gives an opportunity for the grass roots guys to get there junk on tv. He is just a show-man, but guys like Nate and Ken are pretty cool car guys.

I think Pass Time is a legit show. Not everyone on there is a hard core dragracer. Some have fast cars but can't drive or have a botched run (nerves from being on TV?). Watch your local strip, tons of people who can't drive. I think it adds to the fun of the show, you never know if they will run the time they should, or screw it up. Or if they were telling the truth on their mods. Like they say on the show....The burnouts never lie!

On one Passtime episode, a guy said he was using a dry nitrous kit. Ken had to explain to the host that people don't like dry kits and are not using them as much anymore because it relies on the injectors.
I'm sure Robert56 would have loved that conversation.
