Default why??345hp stock 1997 c5!!!!!

My Buddy Up The Road Just Bought A 1997 Auto C5.
His Manual Says It Makes 345hp....
I Was Just Wondering What Makes It Any Different Than Any Other Ls1?...he Also Says The Comp..ratio Is 10.1...isnt A Stock Z 10.5.1???
It Feels Faster Than My Stick Z28 With Full Exhaust And Its A Stick...but Then Again..i Never Ride Passenger..so Maybe It Was Disceiving.....let Me Know,im Curious

Same engine - Corvette is lighter, thus faster. There are a lot of other minor variables, but that is mainly it. It is the weight of the F-body vs. the weight of the Vette, and the Vette wins.

Agreed. I'm just glad I don't let anyone else drive it. Don't want that reality setting in for them, haha.
