Default Relocating the washer fluid bottle? Any tips here?

I'm looking to relocate the washer fluid bottle from the noise below and ahead of the battery for reduced weight on the nose, space for a ram air set up and the fact that I don't used the spray that much at all. I still want to have some incase of emergencies. Is there a write up on this?

You want to take weight off the nose but yet leave it in the front of the car?

That is like saying you rotate the lugnuts on your car every 3K miles

it really doesnt make sense to relocate it. do you really drive through muddy terrain where your complete vision is blocked? throw some windex in the back or use the squgees at the gas station. i doubt you windshield were be blocked to the point where your vision is interrupted.

I've never used the washer fluid since I've owned my car. I would either leave the container empty or remove it entirely.

Same here. . . .

This seems like a real waste of time.

You want it gone, take it out.

swap that windex for some rain x in the trunk and pull your wipers, motor, and linkage.....the faster you drive the better you'll be able to see

interesting view. in my defense i would be thinking of reducing the size of the bottle just to have it.

if your dead set on just moving and reducing the size, go junk yard hopping till you find a small factory one, then stop at the parts store to get you some rubber hose and maybe 2 butt connectors for the motor( if you find one off a GM then it might even be plug and play) as far as where and how to mount it would all depend on the size of the bottle you get

if you worried with relocating it, it would probably still be on the front of the car and acconplish nothing and getting a smaller one and hooking it up would save you less weight than not eating before you went to the track. the only reason i keep mine is because i like shooting wiper fluid on my windsheild randomly for some reason. i've never actually used it to clean my windsheild.

i have owned like 5 fbodies and have never had to use my washer fluid so it just stays dry and it doesnt weight enough to pull it out unless you want to shed half a pound.

Just leave it empty. It doesn't weigh enough to make a difference.

Can't help you on this one. I keep mine filled up with sand. It keeps the front end on the ground between stoplites.

i'd remove mine from my Vette if it wouldn't leave a huge void under my hood. I haven't used it since i bought the car over a year ago. I would say remove it and be done. Get a bottle of RainX for sure. It's not much weight but if it's full it's over 8lb's so it is extra crap.

I only keep a quart of water in mine for an emergency......last time I had washer fluid in it was when I bought it and siphoned it out.
