Smoke an M6?? Nope. Beat it by a few tenths in the 1/4?? Maybe. Highway runs and trap speed still belong to the manual transmission.

Hmm, most my car ever got bone stock was about 22mpg. Been down hill since then. Cam only I get about 15mpgs now. I think some people don't know how to properly calculate miles per gallon.

Sounds to me like something is wrong with your car, or you run it to redline at every stoplight...

What does 24mpg sound like? Sounds like your priorities are amiss.

LOL. J/K, but most people could care less about gas mileage unless they are still DD their fbody.

BTW, my H/C/I car doesn't get close to that. More like 16 on the highway.

We don't D/D it, but we take 150-300 mile trips regularly so gas mileage is somewhat of a concern. It sounds bad ***, btw.

i dd mine i could care less about mpg, reasoning behind this when you start modding it turns into fpg the more gas used up the more fun you have

I think getting good gas mileage is cool. To have a really fast car and get the same gas mileage as a normal car is awesome. I took my 10 sec full weight car to Dayton Ohio for the T/a National last weekend. I got 22mpg with the a/c on half the time.
Keep in mind this is a stalled auto with a 370 gear 9inch. I used to get 30mpg highway when it was an m6 car. Thats great considering that most 4cyl eco boxes get a tad about 30mpg and sacrifice everything. Including the owners ball sack.

I'm happy with my "4cyl eco box" daily driver and the 35mpg it comes with. I don't mind leaving my sack at home when driving that car, my ***** are so big that the added weight hurts MPG.

Oh yeah, and nobody cares about your race car's MPG.

PS. Very cool to hear about your HPP feature Alex. Congrats, it's well deserved with all the work you've put into that car.

I drove from Louisiana to Michigan for the Dream Cruise and got 316 miles to the tank so thats about 21mpg. I was cruising 80 most the time while getting on it in a couple spots. I was pretty satisfied with that considering my mods.

whoa flip out why dont ya! I was just saying that if two cars had a lof of power and one was a manual and the other an auto the auto would win becuase it shifts faster. I also agreed that manuals are more fun to drive. no need to get pissed!

I'm waiting for someone to throw a free breathing LS1/T56 into a GT40 kitcar or some other superlightweight 2200lb aerodynamic car and get like 40mpg out of it lol.

I get 29 mpg hwy here and I know how to read my mileage. I was gonna drop my spare ls1 into a 1983 nissan 280z. I reckon that'll be light enough dont you? Kinda like an oversized jet ski. lol
