Diagnosing an SES code?
The car seems to run fine most the time. It happened when I was waiting in line to get staged for the lap around the Indy Speedway on Sunday. The SES light kicked on. It kinda stumbled and ran rough pretty consistently at idle that day and the slowly became quite intermittent. It doesnt always do it but still does it some. To me it feels like it isnt as strong as it was too but it might just be in my head, my dad thinks it still pulls pretty hard. I have had the codes deleted, came back, and just did it again, so far still out. The codes are P0131 and P0170. Please tell me someone has had this happened and has a solution. I dont want to pay 80 just to have someone look at it...

The O2 sensor is bad, causing both codes. I dont remember which side is which since im used to working on inline engines. Whichever side has the cylinder head closest to the front of the vehicle is bank 1.
Also, a speed density tune does not eliminate 02 sensors. It gets rid of the maf sensor. Running your engine without properly functioning O2 sensors can cause serious driveability issues as well as engine melt down if you happen to lose fuel pressure or somehow go very lean.
