Whats up? I was hoping someone would have some advice for me about what RPM I should launch my 2001 Firehawk M6 at? Was at the track on Sunday and ran dog crap times of 14.00 at 105.9 mph. My 2001 WS-6 ran a 13.7 in 2002. I cant remember how I launched it. Sunday I was just driving it out of the light. Then i tried 1200 and getting off the clutch quick with not much difference. I was thinking about dumping the clutch at 1800rpm? Would that work or should I change the tire pressure????

 

Dont dump the clutch instead try to come off it a lil bit easier next time...Dump will just cause the wheels to spin

 

get 4.10s and drop where you break traction...let out completely and get back on it hard. It works for me on street tires about 2 grand. It's hard to launch our cars with stock gears

 

Right at about 2400 RPM's. Easy out the clutch, then mash the gas.
