Just bought a '95 t-top Z28 with 64K miles on it for $3700. I wasn't looking for any specific car when I bought it. Whenever I buy a car it always is one of those "I'll know it when I see it" things. Not as fast as my '73 was but it rides nicer and it being a hatchback with t-tops is cool. I don't know much about the new lt1 engines or the PCM stuff yet, but it's never too late to learn. Now, if I could just find that damn distributor cap...

I'm all for getting what you want, I did a little search and finding a WS6 with 10 miles is rare in itself. So if mileage is that big a concern and you absolutely have to have it I guess it's not a bad deal.

Me I think I would accept a few more miles for a lower price personally. But for $22K Im gettin the vette no question.

Supply and demand....

$6600 for a '98 with over 100K on the clock is doing pretty good.

I paid 21,500 for my car with 25,000 on the clock about 3 years ago. Expensive even for that time but it was the car I wanted. It now has 29,000 miles on it and just sitting on stands waiting for me to finish alll the work I started. The low mileage cars still get some good cash. Esp. the 01-02's. Once they start gettin up in mileage the prices start droppin like rocks though.

Well originally my car was 12,999 but we talked the guy down to 8500. By the time we added in the warranty it brought it up to about 10500. My car is a 1999 black A4 with about 84K on it. In my area it is almost impossible to find Ls1 Camaro's or T/A's for a reasonable price. Or atleast when i was look i couldnt.

I wouldn't dare pay anything over $6k for an LS1 car with over 100k on it. I sold mine for $6k and it had 105k on it. Ran like a champ, but still.

no way over 6, considering you can get a 38k mile 02 TA ws6 for 14k on ebay BIN. I cant believe the prices out there for a fun car with tons of potential. I smoke stangs vettes and imports all day long for a fraction of the cost. I dont even think im at 10k complete cost for my car with all mods as of yet. YOu just need to know how to shop.

Paid 13.9k on my Z28 with 36k Miles. Added a 3 year warranty & gap coverage and it came out to around $18,2XX. I still have $17,2XX left to pay on it but i have only had it 6-7 months. I plan on cancelling my warranty to drop the total down quite a bit because i plan on putting a Stall/Cam in and that will void it anyway, so why have it? I went into a dealership today and they wouldnt give me anymore than $5500 Trade in for a G8. ****** PISSED ME OFF. I flat out told them they are dumbasses and i dont care what a ****** computer said, they would turn around and sell it for $15k. So needless to say i walked out.

Yeah, I heard where you guys are coming from. I have an 01 SS with 65,000 miles that I keep pretty clean. It's lightly driven also and I can prove it because I have the stock clutch on it still.

I think I could get a legit 12,500 if I tried to sell it. Doesn't hurt that it's an SS it has the color combination that people like, (black/black, 6 speed, ttops)

In Feb of 99 paid $23,500 for the T/A with tax tag etc was $24,500 out the door. The T/A is in good shape but I'd be surprised if it would sell for $6000 these days.

In Oct of 03 paid $17,700 for the x-wifes 02 Z28 which had a higher sticker price and way more options than my T/A. I be shocked if she could get $6000 for the car.
