Default quick question

Hey guys i got a quick question, i dunno if this is the right spot to put this but mods move it if need be. So my question is this, i have a 1994 z28 and when i have to stop quickly my sunvisors swing forward and hit the front windshield everytime. Then i have to slide them back and its getting annoying. Does anyone know how to stop them from doing this do i have to buy new visors??? if so where do i get them?

The rod that allows it to pivot slides into a sleeve. If the sleeve is loose or worn you will have this problem. Most of the time you cant fix it and it will require new visors.

Wrong... 99% sure it's just a spring that you need to replace.

Here's a few quick links to read up on:

Just go for it. Worst thing that could happen is you have to bolt the triangles back in without sunvisors until you buy new ones.

GM parts direct (google it) for new parts, or just hit up people parting out cars here on Tech. I may be able to find some locally and ship but I will let you know.
