Default door making popping sound

Hey guys

recently my drivers side door has been making a loud *POP* when ever i open the door. For some reason it gets worse in colder weather...

it seems as if it's catching on the front fender.
Can anyone help me out with this?

thank you
Craig

It probably is catching. Stand outside of the car and open and shut the door a few times and watch to see if it's catching. May need to adjust the fender or maybe the door is sagging a bit...hinge?

You would be correct. It is catching near the bottom where there's a ridge

how would i adjust the fender and what's a solution for a sagging door?

Catching near the bottom, as in the bottom of the front fender or the bottom of the door (i.e. hitting the rocker??) First off, determine what the problem is and what's causing the catch. Look at the alignment of the fender compared to the hood and the front clip. If they look like they are aligned, it's probably not the fender that is the problem, but that the door is. In this case, it's probably the hinge that may need replacing. Again, start looking more closely at what's going on and what would be the most likely cause of the door catching. Perhaps some pics would be good...

My door does the same thing, only it's when I'm driving over bumps. I'll have to look at the alignment, I was thinking something was broken.
