Default Possible Blown Head Gasket

I have what I think is a blown head gasket, but before I spend loads on replacing them, is there anyway to check if it's just an intake leak?

I've got a 355 with 8# vortech, blower cam and the heads had to be decked and re done once before. Cometic MLS gaskets were used.

Any help would be highly appreciated!

Do you have coolant in the oil? Do you have white smoke comming out of the exhaust?
Coolant running down the block under the heads?

I'll have to check for the coolant on the block but I do know that there's oil in the coolant and a very faint sign of white smoke in the exhaust.

A compression check would not hurt.

If coolant and oil are mixing you got problems. Drain the oil and if itlooks like chocolate milk coolant is leaking. Like 618hawk said do a compression test that might give you a idea of what cylinder to look at first and then i would pull the heads.

I couldn't find any coolant on the engine block. But if there's oil in the coolant doesn't that mean that there has to be coolant in the oil? And also I'm smelling a little bit of burnt or hot oil thru my interior vents, and I don't think I spilled any oil on the engine. The oil level is good right now, but I seem to loose coolant pretty quickly when I'm driving it. Also, this could just be because of my cam or whatever, but I lose about a quart of oil per tank of gas.

This this help at all? I'll get that compression check done soon.

I wouldn't drive the car any more! If there is oil in the coolant you have a problem. You could hydrolock the engine and then the hole thing is junk. Do a compression test and then pull the heads.
