Default 2002 camaro ss light flickering (need new alternator) which one to get?

I just bought a 2002 camaro ss and at night all of the lights including dash light flicker. from what I have read it is going to be the internal voltage regulator in the alternator. So it looks like I will be buying a new alternator. I know it would be best to buy the Ac delco from the dealer but wha twill that cost? Will the $124 one from autozone be good enough? I hate to over pay at the dealer for parts like that.

yeah dont use a ac delco from the dealer i had chevy tell me that its about a 30% chance you will get a good one i got 5 bad ones bad luck i guess. And a lot of people think they are new but they are not they are all remanufactured. oh and they charge over 300 hundred for the alts , the only good thing is once they put the first one in it has a lifetime parts/labor warranty but its sucks having take your car back five times.

i would try and find a place that will rebuild it using OEM parts. I'm on my third aftermarket this year...
