Assuming that the "baseline" test was run with some crazy thick oil, and then the "improvement" test was run with 0 weight or something... then maybe. Otherwise, I call shenanigans.

I think generally the results are negligible when comparing new to new. Old to new is not a fair comparison.

there using both 50 weight oil which is the key. 0 or 20 w is only key upon start up.

ive seen someone pick up like i belive it was 7or 9 hp on a dyno by changing the motor oil, tranny oil, and gear oil to royal purple.

You are more likely to pick up horsepower from getting a better oil pan and upgrade the oiling system....

i saw that done on horse power tv a few years ago. on an ls1 camaro i believe
