Default Still Ticking...grrrrr

Some of yall read my old post about this issue.... The camaro has a ticking noise all the time... The first couple days it went away when warmed up, but now its constant... I tought ok.. bad lifters.... I changed all of the lifters and pushrods... note one lifter had damage... the retaining clip/spring came out.... went through HELL doing all of them, cranked her up and ITS STILL TICKING...lol.... brought it to my mechanic and he says that i might have a worn out camshaft.... Car is bone stock btw... help me please.... is it a bad cam or could i possibly still have air in one of the lifters?...

a buddy told me it might be a knock sensor.. can a bad knock sensor cause the engine to have a lifter like ticking?

Dont think they are any moving parts in the knock sensor to tick. So this is not just injector ticking? They tick pretty loudly and the valve trains are fairly noisy as well.
Wow checking lifters means pulling the heads..Pretty rare for roller cams to get screwed . At least cam change is easy compared to checking those lifters!

dumb question but are there any adjustments that i can make to the valvetrain... bone stock but would a longer pushrod solve the ticking?

I mentioned this in another post. But, it is near impossible to determine a engine sound without hearing it in first person.

Did you replace the lifters and push rods your self?

Does it sound like a valve? < See, yet again no way to know, unless you have heard these sounds before in person.
