My Hood is Stuck! After seeing the SES light flashing I stopped to check under the hood, but the hood wouldn't pop open? Pulling on the latch inside the car is weak (as best I can describe). What can I do?

My experience My sonoma does the same thing. when you pull the release latch in the vehicle it seems like it never releases. but if i would go to the front of the vehicle and tap the hood close to where the latch is located firmly, it would release the hood like it was supposed to. good luck

I got it open! Pushed the hood down real good, then pulled the release latch with same results. But, then I went to the front of the hood and somehow got my fingers in there and pulled up. It released? Also, I found the cause of the SES light...a spare plug wire came off.
