rattle?

rattle? it started yesterday. went out to drive today and started it up and it ratteled pretty loud initially then stopped. i started driving and it doesnt make any noise under accel. but under decel it ratteles alot. it make a slight noise at idle. it sounds like it is hitting the passanger floor or at least coming from that area. im guessing its a heat sheild or the cat.
by the way its a 98 z28
anyone have a similar problem?

ok then yea check the heat shields make sure they arent rubbing or make sure that its not touching the cats/pipe/o2 sensors.
if its not that then maybe the cats are clogged or something

well it looks like it was just the exhaust hitting the crossmember peice. it wasnt hitting the tranny crossmember but rather the one behind it.
do i really need this peice for structure? its not like its supporting the exhaust or tranny?

i removed mine the other day since mine was also hitting
good thing it was nothing big
