Default steario get louder when i press on gas pedal

it was snowing today in Ontario and i got stuck with my 02z28 in a parking spot, so i gave it some gas to about 3000rpm and then i noticed that my stereo got louder, as soon as i let of the gas pedal the volume went back to normal.
it never does it when i got WOT on a dry road or if i am already moving at speed. it is a factory cd player and i only went behind it once to get power to my trans temp sensor, i think it was an orange wire. WTF is going on ? please help me out.

Turn the SCV down.

The SCV **** will raise/lower the volume if there is more outside noise (exhaust, wind, etc). the higher it is, the higher it will raise the volume

yea thats one of our high class features.

there is a "ring" around your volume ****. Turn it all the way to the left it should be pointed at your feet

To be more specific as to what this is and why it happens, the SCV is the Speed Controlled Volume. It is a design that increases the volume based on how fast the car is going, to offset the wind noise generated at higher speeds.

Personally, I have mine on the lowest setting, so that it only slightly turns the volume up at speeds over 55 mph. Most people just turn them off completely though. As Blazingz28 said, it is a "ring" **** that surrounds your volume ****. You should be able to see it though.

SCV: Your system has a feature called
Speed-Compensated Volume (SCV). With SCV, your
audio system adjusts automatically to make up for road
and wind noise as you drive. Set the volume at the
desired level. Turn the control ring behind the upper
**** clockwise to adjust the SCV. Then, as you drive,
SCV automatically increases the volume, as necessary,
to overcome noise at any particular speed. The volume
level should always sound the same to you as you drive.
If you don’t want to use SCV, turn the control all the
way down. Each notch on the control ring allows for
more volume compensation at faster vehicle speeds
