Need help!
Need help! I have a 98' Z28 a4 with an LS2 swap. So the car is idling good at first but has 500-750rpm jumps sometimes. The car is also slow to crank. The car also dies everytime I put it in reverse or if I'm coming ti a stop. I'm assumingit has to be an idle problem. I've checked for vacuum leaks and can't find any, cleaned out the IAC and now I'm stumped. Somebody help me out.
First, get it scanned wioth a real OBDII scanner at the dealership, not at Advance Auto or PepBoys with that little yellow scanner.
Then see what you have goling on. It can be a dozen things.

The dealership....probably like $50.00 for a scan. Not sure though.

Both are very good shops and I have gotten free scans (the good OBDII scanners) by both of those guys when I lived there two years ago. Larry Macedo and Mike Norris, both very good guys. I would bet they would do it for free for you. I gave you the links so you can figure out where they are in the Orlando area.
Call these guys, I bet they both say to bring it right over.
