Default Is engine still good?

DOES ANYONE KNOW IF ENGINE IS STILL GOOD WITH PITTED CYLINDER WALL? PURCHASED LSI LONG BLOCK WITH 50K MILES AND HAD SOME WATER IN CYLINDER 2 DUE TO ENGINE BEING OUTSIDE FOR ABOUT 10 MONTHS.

I wouldn't take any chances with anything like that, get it cleaned up.

Can you over bore a LS1 .030"?

The absolute most you can bore a stock LS1 block is 3.910 (348ci). 3.905 is the standard (347ci). Stock bore size is 3.896 (346ci). I would just have the block honed and cleaned then add some new bearings and have the crank checked to make sure there is no damage to it. Then have it all balanced, and just put it back together.
