Changing Clutch Fluid
If your car has stock motor mounts, it can be pretty easy. This is how I did it (sounds harder than it is, took 20 minutes):
Buy a couple of bottles of your preferred brake fluid (DOT3 at least, recommend with higher boiling point and low moisture activity)
-Get a section of 7/16th hose like 2ft long, fuel hose works good it is cheap and flexible.
-Grab a clear bottle or 2, that is clean inside and fill it some of the way with brake fluid. Clear is best so you can see how dirty it is getting, put it aside for later.
Jack your car up a little, so you can crawl under. Use a small scissor jack or something, put it under the *** end of the transmission, undo the 4 15mm bolts holding the crossmember up, let it down as far as it will sag on the motor mounts without binding up the torque arm or anything.
This should leave you a good amount of room on the side to get your hand up there, use a tiny ratchet and a 12mm or 7/16th socket on the bleeder. I find it easiest to put the socket on there and then attach the ratchet. Now, crack open the bleeder a small amount. After that, slide the hose onto it, might take you a minute to get it on there as it is a PITA. Stick the hose in the clear bottle of brake fluid so the end is submerged.
Now open your reservoir, start pumping the clutch pedal by hand. When it gets low, fill it up with the new fluid. It will take about 10 minutes and you might have to dump out the nasty fluid in the clear bottle, but keep filling it up with clean fluid **warning, if you leave the hose open out of fluid for more than a few seconds the whole system will drain out, maybe having a spare bottle is best (or kink the hose with some vice grips), if you let it all drain you will have to bench bleed the master, ask me how I know. After a while it will all come out clean, and you just need to bleed the clutch properly and put everything back.
NOTE: this is possible to do without letting the trans down, but you need small hands and a lot of patience. I recommend just letting it down, gives you and extra inch or two. Also, check to make sure none of the harness is binding or catching when you let it down if you do that. There are ways like cutting a hole in the floor for the bleeder, search for bleeding the clutch and you will find this. I didn't want to cut a hole so I did it this way.
so the next time i did it..i cut a hole in the floor. made it such a breeze!!!!!!
put a piece of duct tape over the hole and lay the carpet back over it. no one will know.
