What kind of power steering fluid?

What kind of power steering fluid should I put into my 2001 Trans-Am? Can I just go to Pep Boys and ask for power steering fluid for an '01 TA?

royal purple, it will make the pump work smoother. you can mix it with regular stuff in the pump already.

I just used Prestone power steering fluid a few weeks ago. I used it to flush out the old and it worked fine after a 1400 mile trip I just took to FL.
