You dont need to remove the tank. To remove the high pressure line all I did was remove the pulley and use a wrench. I think you can get to the line without removing the pulley but it is a pain.

you need to get a puller. You can rent them at an auto parts store, but I too would like to know how to take off the reservoir.

yea go to advance and rent the GM power steering pulley remover.

The tank is easy to get off. there are 2 clip like things that hold it to the pump. Once you have the assembly in your hand you will see what im talking about. I took a flat screw driver and tapped the end of the clips till they slid off releasing the tank from the pump. then you just tapped them back on when reinstalling the assmebly.

I don't know, I know you don't want to use a 3 jaw puller because it can bend the pulley. I've never taken of the pulley so I can't honestly saw, but i did see antoher thread around here that shows the pulley a guy rented from Oreilly's and he said it worked.

when I remove the PS pulley from my car, I take the fans and radiator out so I have as much room as possible. Im not sure if you need to remove them though.
