Headlight adjustor question

Headlight adjustor question Good evening guys,
I have a question for you guys and girls that have taken your headlights out a few times. My headlight adjusting bracket behing my headlight itself is broken so I decided to shop around for one. I put a bid for one on ebay but I didn't realize that in the picture that tabs were broken. I wonder if it is necessary to have those tabs and if the headlight will still attach securely to the car. I have circled those tabs in the picture attached. Do you guys think that the adjustor bracket still look usable in the picture. I am just asking since if it doesn't I'll just pay for the item and give it away to the first person who is willing to pay for the shipping on this.

are they both broken? (couldn't tell by the pic) I've got one that is broken and it still works fine. I did strip the screw though and had to drill out the hole and use a bolt with a nut. That was a little bit of rigging but that works too

That's exactly how mine is rigged up right now but I figured I would fix it since well for a few bucks it didn't really matter. Only my passenger side one is broken and I bought the car that way.

Thanks Assasin I figured I would buy it for 12$ I really don't have much to loose! I was just worried about those tabs. I think I'll get it shipped to my place and then if I don't like it I'll just get rid of it on here or something. The lens are a little faded but nothing a little polish can't do and I probably can sell the thing for 300$ around here lol. That's what my dealer wanted for one if I can remember.

that's another thing that annoys with GM is trying to get parts for a headlight i.e. the little rubber vent caps! Good luck with that, and even the adjusting bracket cannot be had either thru GM parts! improvise, adapt, overcome! oops! that's the making a Marine!
