Default door panel removal

I've searched quite a bit on here and found alot of people complaining about the top cracks and replacing window motor, but I'm not sure how to get the door panel off intact. If someone has a link....otherwise, I removed the handle trim panel and the 2 large bolts in the armrest. I thought it would pop out, buut the fasteners seem to be holding where the large bolts were and the arm rest seems to be fastened to the panel. This sounds dumb, I just didn't want to bust any of the plastic parts I have with every other car i've owned.

I've had to remove mine several times when doing my audio stuff. Just make sure you get every screw, and dont force ANYTHING. If it doesnt come off, you probably missed a screw. Door panel is very flimsy and I found out the hard way and you can't replace the white leather interior for a 25th anniversary
Hardest part will be the door lock when you put everything back on imo.

What I do to get it back on is use a dental pick like on the left in the picture below.

I hold the lock wire with the pick, then slide in the plastic piece on.

For the door lock?
Yeah that would of been a lot better then attempting to press it back on, lol.

I figured out that getting the door lock lever back on is way easier than it looks, if I remember right you just slide it over the arm and push and it snaps in. Not sure if I'm explaining that right, but I remember fighting with it for a while and then kicking myself when I realized how easy it was.

Yup its super easy if you just look at it... once its off haha. First time i did mine, i broke the driver side one. I was furious but its only a couple bucks from the junkyard.

Be very careful taking it off. Putting it back on is no problem. And your going to "lift" the door panel off more than "pull"

I'm not sure what year that car is, but my '98 T/A isn't quite the same. I took out all the screws I can see and I still can yank on teh armrest and shut the door.

Be sure you are lifting up and out on the plastic door. There are tabs that hold it in on the botto, that prevent you from just 'pulling' it off.

Is it any more difficult to remove the 4 rivets you CAN see from the inside of the door? Will that cause the spring to pop out?
