driver side window issue, strange....

so my drivers side window is acting very strage and agrivating. when i roll the window down it stops halfway and will not go up or down. then if i wait a few minutes i can get to go a few more inches either way. it almost like it goes 1/2 down then stops. for every minute i wait it goes up or down a 1/4 inch. any help??

sounds like motor is going out. mine was doing that and i replaced the motor and solved that problem. our motors are notorious for going out

so how do i fix it, replace the entire motor? is there any where on here where it shows howto do that?
