motor mount replacement cost
motor mount replacement cost thinking about getting some new motor mounts so my y pipe stops banging. probably going with poly. up until this point i've done all the work on the car myself but this just seems like a PIA and i don't really feel like doing it. how much would the labor be to have this job done? any estimates?
Took me and a buddy about 6 hours to do this...and this was after all the parts had been removed for a cam swap and with the headers in place.
I understand that it is much, much, easier if the headers are off the car.
You have to remove the stock mounts and cut them apart to insert the poly mounts...getting to that point isn't that hard...getting the poly ones back in is tough.
It would cost a few hundred bucks easy.

I just paid a friend of a friend $400 to do mine. He did both mounts, torque arm mount, and gutted my cats for me. The torque arm mount was causing my "thud" noise under the car at times.
