Would weak shocks cause slight vibration?
I suspect my rear shocks are getting weak. I can grab the inside of my trunk and move the car up and down pretty easy.
Now the car does not bounce like we have all seen when rear shocks are totally blown.
Question is if the shocks are getting weak will they cause a slight vibration when driving any where from 60 to 70 mph ?
I've had them just balanced but it seems to still be there not as much but never the less still there.
Back to the balancer, break the bead 1/4 turn and re- balance or new shocks?

My wife's 01 Convertible has the same vibration problem. The shocks are done on her car, no question about it (they have roughly 125k miles on them). I am looking to replace them relatively soon, but for now, we just have to deal with the crappy ride. For you, all I can say is; if they are bad, replace them. See if it fixes your vibration.
No sense driving on bad shocks anyway, right?
