POS L98 troubles

POS L98 troubles I am posting this up for my brothers 92 z28
So it has stranded him twice. He will be driving down the highway and when he decreases speed his car stalls and sputters to a complete crawl. This has happened to him twice. The first time we replaced the fuel injectors (this was about a year ago) and it seemed to have fixed the problem. Has been running fine ever since.
Fast forward to yesterday and it happened again stalling sputtering and barely enough power to move, and a strong smell of raw gas. No engine codes
So we were stumped and we took it to a local mechanic to diagnose the problem. Well he came up with nothing.. He couldnt even get the car to sputter and stall! It ran like a champ. No engine codes
He stated that:
Fuel Pump= OK
Injectors= OK
everything seemed to run just fine.
So now im left with the internet as my last resource I can only think of a couple different causes:
O2 sensors are faulty?
Something wrong with the Speed Density?
EVAP faulty?
So what do you all think? (im thinking sell the car lol)
