Im not sure exactly where to point you, but i would try to check and see if water is pooling anywhere, because it may be a slow leak into the car. But FWIW my car smells like mold and mildew anytime it rains. But only when it rains. When its dry and i let it air out it doesnt smell anymore. So im trying to figure out what causes that. Good luck
