Window motor question
Window motor question My pass side window stopped working all of a sudden. It used to be a little slow but never slow enough that it wouldnt go all the way up. Today it just didnt go down at all, tried pressing from the DS and PS switches, nothing.
Is this the time where I have to replace the window motor? I see the guides on the sticky for it, but i dono if I replace the motor or the regulator? Or even if it is the motor, cause I thought it was still supposed to go up/down just very slow/stop when its a prob with the motor.

Motor needs replaced it is overheating and shutting down. It will progress from going slow to needing 4 minute breaks to get it to go up once it stops. Regulator is fine if the window is going up straight.

take off your door panel and look at the regulator. Make sure the wire is not binding anywhere or twisted. If so replace the whole thing, you'll just have to rip it apart again before long if your regulator is crap
