Default Can I take my AC belt off?

Is this the concept for A/C bypass, will i see a small hp increase? The reason im taking it off is its sqeaking loudly and I'd rather just take it off for now until i replace the pulley/ tensioner, but will this hurt my engine in any way. Can it throw off the main belt pulley's alignment? Just want to make sure nothing bad can come of this.

I've had my AC belt off before, didn't hurt a thing. Go for it. It does not effect the main belt.
