Help with rubbing noise when turning. I recently bought a 2002 Z28. When I bought the car it was already lowered. I didn't notice it at the time but there is a rubbing type noise from the rear when turning especially to the right. It sounds like a tire rub. It has ZR1 17's out rear with 275 40's. It also feels wierd if you turn the steering wheel quickly right and left, real floaty feeling. I know this description is not really good but any ideas will be appreciated. Lee
Mine is in the rear. I don't know much about lowered cars but maybe something is off alignment wise since someone lowered the car. Not sure what it could be or how to fix it though.

I had the same problem. I put a spacer on the hub and it was fine. Mine was rubbung on the inner lip, if you take the wheel off there was a scuff mark on the paint on the inner wheel well.
I guess I need to pull the wheel off and see if I can find a rub point on the inner fender.
