Default I think my window motor is dead, but not sure. Testing question

So my headlight wouldn't work, so i cleaned out the corrosion and it started working again. the next day it stopped working for good. I want to use an ohm meter to test if the motor is bad, does anyone know what reading I should see if it is good??

Am I supposed to set it to continuous and see if it shows a 0 or not?

you double checked the fuse under the hood right?!J/K Usually if the headlight door does not open and close anymore than it is the motor that took a dump on you. Since you said it stopped working for good I assume that there isn't any grinding noise coming from the headlight itself?

No grinding noise whatsoever, i put my ear next to that one headlight and no noises. the driver side works perfectly fine. I just need a way to test it since i cleaned the corrosion out once and that fixed it, but then stopped the next day.

A bad motor will typically be shorted out or have an open. Using the ohm meter check the resistance and see what it is. I would guess a good head lamp motor would be something in the range of 100 ohms. You can check the good motor and see what it is for a comparison.
