I let the TA sit for a day and now the sound is gone. I already have the trap door cut out on top, so when it comes time, does the fuel pump simply unbolt and pull out?

My car makes the normal buzzing sound as well. It was 85+ degrees today and my pump has gotten much louder, as you have described. Once the weather cooled down, it went back to normal.
