Rod Knock on 05 C6?

Rod Knock on 05 C6?

I just bought an 05 c6 and the dealer left it two quarts low. On my way back I started hearing noises already.

Heres the noise i'm getting now:

It seems like you cant hear it inside but unless the car is engaged.

Is this a rod knocK?

Yeah, has lifter tick too (common). I changed the oil after adding 2 quarts. I'm worried bout the deep tone'd ticks in there.

What oil and filter do you use ? like I say early, if I was you, I take it back right after I find out it 2 quart low.

The noise came before the oil change, I added Mobil 1 5-30w when I found it low.

And the oil change was Mobil 1 5-30w, AC delco filter. Didn't help any

btw, ac delco dint make good filter any more, actually they made by champion lab encore with cheap quality, I do use wix ( napa gold ) or mobil 1 , and nothing else. good luck bud
