Squeak over bumps in front left
Squeak over bumps in front left There's a noticeable squeak/creek in the front left when that tire goes over a bump. It will also make that noise if I stand on the DS sidesill and rock it up/down.
Are the ball joints known to go bad on these cars? How hard are they to replace and are they greasable?
Didn't get a chance to jack the car up yet and I'd like to see what you guys thing before going in. Thanks!

my car started making that noise in the driver front. now it seems to be coming from all around. i hope it just needs to get greased up. dont have money for all new bushings

You could try hosing it down with some Fluid Film. That might save you some time.

HAHA, because this isn't a civic forum and I don't have a civic. Not to go too off topic, just wondering, how does the civic compare to the z28 in terms of handling and ride?
The Si handled better on OEM Civic Type-R suspension, likely because 1000 extra pounds is tough to coerce into changing direction. It's not nearly as stable at high speeds however, again maybe duen to the weight difference, plus the whole FWD understeer thing lol. My only gripes were having to wind it out to 4k in order to keep up with traffic and doing 80mph at 4,000RPM.Believe it or not, the 2.2L H22 was referred to as a "big block" for Hondas back in 2003 around the time of my swap.
I do miss the 28/33 mpg
