So i've searched everything on this site and google, and still no avail.
Problem:
turn signals dont work
wont light up on dash
will click when move up and down
hazards work perfectly
What i have done:
changed the silver (flasher) thing
replaced all bulbs
checked ground in rear hatch area.
now what i have done also recently is replace the ignition switch...so idk if it indirectly relates to it or not....but any advice would be appreciated.

Which flasher did you change. The hazard and t/s have there own flasher units. The t/s flasher should be above or near the dlc connector where you plug in a scanner.
Also at the flasher there should be a brown and a purple wire. There should be power at the brown wire and the purple wire should flash with the t/s on.

nope have NOT!!!!! fixed it yet....
i was finally able to get some time off work....
i know i replaced the t/s blinker unit because it is the one that is closest to the center console....
i checked and i have no power going to either the purple or the brown cord....
now i dont know where to go from there..
**and just clarifying...i know that the turn signal wont work while the hazards are on...so its not me trying to do both at once...**
kinda at a loss for words as to how a simple blinker can take a car off the road

My car's pretty old, I'm going to dig into my fuse box pretty deep on Monday, let ya know if I get any results. Fortunately no one in Lexington knows that turn signals are a standard option on cars now anyway, so no one's pulled me over for it.

![Question](https://ls1tech.com/forums/images/icons/icon5.gif)
went out today and checked to see if i had power going to the fuse...
i checked the turn signal and nothing. so just to make sure i checked the hazard and there is power.
so i am NOT getting power to the turn signal fuse!
and the reverse lights do NOT work!
i hope you have an answer to that one! seems like you do!

That fuse powers up the t/s flasher, drl module and reverse lights. Do you have power at the 20amp hvac fuse 6? Those 2 fuses get power to the fuse block from the orange (terminal A connector 1) wire from the ignition switch. Let me know if you have power at the hvac fuse.

Yes you do need to check for power at the ignition switch but you don't have to lower the column. I tried it on mine to see if it could be done. I removed the 2 panels under the dash and used a mirror to see the connectors. It's the black connector with the orange wire and thats the only orange wire at the switch. Still using the mirror and a little time you can back probe the wire at the switch connector (with it still plugged in to the switch) with a test light or volt meter. You should have power with the key in the run position. If you don't try turning the key slightly forward and back to see it that gives you anything. If you have something then the switch may just need to be adjusted. If you don't have any power then the switch is bad. If there is power it is either the wire to the fuse block or the fuse block itself. Hopefully this makes sense and let me know what you find.

i went under the dash today..and found out no power...
so i re-dropped the steering column, took out the ignition switch i had just replaced... took it back to advance auto parts...bought one from orielies, installed it, and bam! the sucker has turn signals reverse lights, and every single power option working!
Thank you soooo much 02 35th LE!!!
you were such a big help!

I noticed I had reverse lights still, so I'm willing to bet mine's just a blown fuse, been getting the house ready for an open house so car has gotten zero effort or time. Oh well maybe soon.

If your reverse lights are working than the fuse is ok. Do you have power the brown wire at the t/s flasher. If so the use a test light and probe the purple wire at the flasher and the test light should flash on&off.
