fuel pump!!!?

I really need some help, I need to know. I have it ready for the new fuel pump to go in, and my buddy has a fuel pump hell sell me out of his 02 SS, but will it work since mines a V6?
Nope its completely different. The LS1 pump puts out more volume AND uses a internal regulator. Your v6 uses a external regulator at the fuel rail. Go get the proper repair kit OR the entire pump assembly. The v6 is a MU 167 and the LS1 is a MU 230.
