Hah, I ended up performing a cheap fix. The cheapest used ones on ebay were going for $90, which is ridiculous as far as I'm concerned. So, I just sorta forced mine back together...no other way to really explain it. But it looks fine and works as long as I'm careful. Maybe some day if I have $100 to blow for no reason I'll look into finding a replacement.
Thanks again for all your help!

Happens to just about all of them that get abused regularly. I was lucky and found a whole console on here for 50 bucks. But I like your ghetto fixes. Mine was too far gone for that.

kny3twalker: I wish you luck with yours, but I really don't think it's possible for mine to get worse...it's no longer together and pieces are missing.
Blackened2k: That's definitely a great deal, the market for these things is definitely more cutthroat than I originally thought.
VIP1: I'll look around for junkyards, but my part of FL probably doesn't have too many.
