Please help me!!!! Hi I am new to this site. I have a 98 Firebird. When I start it it feels like it wants to stall but only for about 20 seconds. when i step on the gas it jerks about 5 times and then its fine after i get over 30mph. please help me.

Could be a bunch of things depending on the above questions.
In addition to what others said, may want to also check for a loose vacuum hose or air leak in the intake plumbing after the MAF or even the MAF itself.

Did this suddenly start happening or did it develop gradually. And after 20 sec. it runs fine at ANY speed? or just over 30mph? Are you getting any Service Engine lights? (so you can find the fault codes).

I happened all of a sudden. i just changed my fuel filter and that wasn't it. i turn my car on and it feel like its gonna stall like its choking. then when i step one the gas it jerks a few times untill i get to like 30mph or the car gets warmer. but then when i keep driving if i step one the gas too hard it will stare choking again. like its misfiring
