Spoiler Third Break Light Repair??? I noticed a while back that all the screw holes in my spoiler break light were cracked. Today I went to leave and noticed the break light hanging from its wire harness. I remeber reading a thread that adressed a repair but can't find it. I figure I can use a washer? Pics would be a great help!
You can either buy a new light(hawksthirdgen is cheap) or do what I did and get some black plastic washers that fit the screws but are slightly larger than the recessed holes for the light. The screw wont fit all the way into the recessed hole and will stick out slightly along with the washers with this method but it doesn't look that bad and is way cheaper.
I actually bought a new light but decided not to use it until my existing one gets worse, eventually they all crack so I'll put off installing the new one as long as possible.
