Default Low coolant sensor o-ring broke Plug it or new sensor?

I recently unplugged the low coolant sensor because it was throwing a false light. Now the o-ring on the sensor went out and is making a slow drip of antifreeze spill out. Should i plug the hole where the sensor goes in or get a new sensor? The only reason i dont want to get a new sensor is because i dont use it and i regularly check my coolant anyways. Any thoughts or advice is appreciated.

Auto Parts store will have a million "O" rings in different sizes.

Match one up for $.99.

Yup, just take in your old one even if it's broken and they'll be able to match it up for you.

Get the new sensor. Its there for a reason. With an aluminum block and heads, its critical to have a full system to make sure air bubbles are not introduced. If you have them in the system, you could be doing damage without your temperature sensor registering the problem.
