Help!!!!!!!
Leaking water pumps don't make an engine overheat, unless its been leaking for like a week.
If you top off the coolant and go for a drive and you overheat, its something else thats making you overheat.
UNLESS of course its leaking like a garden hose, but most of the time they drip very slowly.

I agree, the water pump won't make it overheat. But a dirty radiator will, really quickly. With you engine cold, take of the radiator cap and look down inside it with a flashlight. Do you see a lot of crud in there? If so, take it out and take it to the local radiator shop to be cleaned.
its not overheating anymore??? wtf? ok it has stopped overheating, all thats left to do is swap out the chain, anything else i should swap while i'm at it?? gaskets? i think we're good to go now
