Angry F'in dash crack!

Today I noticed about a 7" crack sitting in the center of my dash behind my steering wheel. Is there anyway to prevent it from spreading? Maybe some type of adhesive or compound rubbed into the crack? This sucks . If not what is the cost of a replacement and is it easy to replace?

Very common problem that's why I bought a dash pad for mine that covers the dashboard and therefore I will never have it crack. But don't worry I live 3 hours south from San Anto and around here local body shops charge around $60 to fix that dashboard(moulded together with some kinda adhesive and painted) just like if it never happened! Try some local paint shops around your area see what they say.

I am having a guy at a local stereo fabrication shop put mine together with some fiberglass on the underside and wrapping it with vinyl and some puffed up "SS" logos or something for like $100.

Thaks for the replies fellas. That vinyl write up looks interesting, but I'll have to see if i can find some vinyl that matches perfectly.

good luck getting your dash pad out w/o breaking it even more...I had two small cracks and as soon as I tried to lift up on the pad it was so brittle and just snapped into pieces
