Cant fix SES P1441
Cant fix SES P1441 So i my SES light came on, i scanned it with my odb scanner and got p1441. so i take it to a shop and the guy got the same code, says he can fix it. he charges me for the part and labor and supposedly changed the canister.
he said he let it run for like 30 minutes and it did not come on so he called me. i drove it home all good, next day i go to work and it comes on.
so i got out there today, changed fuel filter, and was taking a peak around and looking through my haynes book. best i can tell there is another part or 2 that i can replace to fix it but its on top or beside the gas tank. do i have to drop the tank? am i missing something here?
i know a guy who will fix it, but if i could do it for cheaper then i want to. however i just have not messed with it much and am unsure.
