Default After changing plugs.....

Well i got the idea today that I would change my plugs. 1998 TA. Well after a little help from my dad an about 45 min we got two in. But time was running out and i was only able to get those two in right now. I got in my car and went top start it. It turned over stuttered then cranked. I went to wal-mart and it did this again. What could be the answer to this problem? Oh and when I was changing the plugs i broke the little black plug beside the driver side header what is the PN for that. I think it is the temperature sensor. thanks

Ok I am still having this problem . I have also noticed that even after running and I turn the car off and turn it back on again it will idle high ( 1500) for awhile. I am also still having the starting problem. All of this started happening when I changed the plugs . Help!!!!!

breakin that sensor has major issues. coolant temp determines many computer tables.

Chances are that that his plugs are fine,... its the broken sensor on the side of the block that can be causing those issues.

Yeah I am postive that i did not mess up the placement of the plugs because I only took off one plug at a time. This morning I was at the gas station and it took several minutes for it to start. I wil go today and get that sensor. I have never had this problem before so thanks for all the help

and with your high idle problem..... mine will do this when my battery runs out. I believe its because it has to relearn the fuel trims.

its good after 20 miles or so, and restarting the car.

Kinda' hard to mess up, considering that the wires are so short they barely have enough length to reach the coil and plug. As for the hard startup and idle, the exact same thing happened when I accidentally left that thing you're talking about unplugged on my block...

That bucking is probably due to a wire not clicking into a coil pack all the way.
one of my taylors was corroded and wouldn't click in so I had an old oem
in the basement from my last plug change that I broke some of the oem
wires and replacing that wire fixed it. I also broke off that sensor connection you speak of and have it plugged in hanging loose and working. I noticed I did blow one of the pcm fuses maybe you did too. I finished today With #8 which was most of the work. I'm 60 years old so it is beginning to be quite a chore for me.
