Ive had a remanufactured Autozone alternator for years, not one issue.

number four tested bad got my money back from them...

went and bought a 140 amp beast works great!

if it says "made in mexico" on it put it back in the box and walk out the door to somewhere else

Isn't third world cheap labor a wonderful thing? You know that the 140 amp guy won't do a thing for you if you don't have loads demanding that kind of current, right?

yeah, i know. but the standard of parts to support 140 amps has to be higher than just your avg stock replacement that was my logic at least.

my thought was hey you have that much extra room before pushing the alternator to its limit so one would think the alternator would take the load in stride and in turn last longer, maybe, unless its actually crap too.
